Welcome to Milligram, where our passion for design, stylish stationery, and the finer things in life come together to create a unique shopping experience. Founded in October 2007 by friends Scott Druce and Matt Harris, our journey began with a simple idea and a dining table serving as our first office space. Originally known as NoteMaker, our small team of two handled everything from product photography to packing online orders. Fast forward to today, and Milligram has become the go-to stationery store for cult favourite brands. From iconic pen brands like LAMY and Kaweco to beloved notebook makers such as Rhodia, Clairefontaine, MiGoals, and Field Notes, we curate a selection that embodies quality and craftsmanship.

In 2011, we moved into our first real office space in Footscray as the team expanded. The addition of Kirby, our furry team member, in 2012 brought joy and warmth to our workplace. And in 2013, we launched the Friends for Life loyalty program, showing appreciation for our loyal customers. The expansion continued with the opening of our flagship store at Melbourne Central in 2017, followed by three more stores across Melbourne in 2018-2019.
